[Friday Crime Stories] EBAY ‘BLOOD MONEY’: Pregnant Covergirl Sharon Tate Murdered, Her ‘Personal Items’ FOR SALE ON EBAY

FILE - This combination of file photos shows actress Sharon Tate, left, and at right, her body being taken from her rented house in the Bel-Air area of Los Angeles on Aug. 9, 1969. Tate, a model and rising film star after her breakout role in the 1966 film, "Valley of the Dolls," was eight months pregnant when she and four others were found murdered by cult-leader Charles Manson and his followers. Fifty years ago, Manson dispatched a group of disaffected young followers on a two-night killing rampage that terrorized Los Angeles and, in the years since, has come to represent the face of evil. Sharon Tate’s sister says the items being hawked online as belonging to the late actress are fake. Several items, including a ring, dress, and purse purported to have been owned or worn by Tate, are listed for sale on eBay. Debra Tate tells TMZ says it’s all a scam.
