An 18-year-old Missouri man has been sentenced to decades in prison after being convicted in an armed robbery case and previously pleading guilty to a separate fatal shooting that occurred just one month later.
Undrellius Fleck was convicted of first-degree robbery in Clay County and sentenced to 30 years in prison for an August 2025 armed robbery at a Waffle House in Kansas City. The sentence will run concurrently with a 23-year prison sentence he received earlier this year for a separate second-degree murder and robbery case stemming from a deadly convenience store shooting.
According to the Clay County Prosecutor’s Office, the Waffle House robbery took place at about 10:20 p.m. in August 2025. A man had arrived at the restaurant with his ex-girlfriend. After the woman left the restaurant, the man followed her outside, where prosecutors say Fleck approached him while armed with a handgun.
The victim immediately ran back inside the restaurant to escape. Authorities said Fleck chased him into the Waffle House, where the victim jumped over the service counter and hid behind a waitress.
Investigators said Fleck pointed a black Glock handgun fitted with a tactical light at the victim and demanded his cellphone. Court documents state he repeatedly ordered the victim to hand over the device. During the robbery, Fleck allegedly turned the gun toward the waitress, pointed it at her chest, and threatened to shoot her if his demands were not met.
Fearing for their safety, the victim surrendered his cellphone, allowing Fleck to flee the restaurant. Although no one was physically injured during the incident, the waitress later told investigators she believed she was going to be killed.
Police later identified Fleck through a photo lineup in which one of the victims recognized him as the robber.
Investigators also uncovered evidence involving the victim’s ex-girlfriend. The day before the robbery, Kansas City police had stopped her gray Nissan Altima during a traffic stop. Officers reported that she was speaking on the phone with Fleck during that stop, information that later became part of the investigation.
Just one month after the Waffle House robbery, Fleck became involved in a fatal shooting at a convenience store in Jackson County, Missouri.
According to investigators, Fleck arrived at the business shortly before midnight in the same gray Nissan. Police said he was carrying a firearm that had allegedly been illegally modified with a “switch,” a device capable of converting a semi-automatic handgun into a fully automatic weapon.
Authorities said another man entered the convenience store and was confronted by Fleck and a second suspect. During the encounter, Fleck allegedly opened fire with the modified weapon, striking the victim multiple times.
The victim died at the scene from his injuries. Court documents state that after the shooting, Fleck picked up the victim’s firearm before fleeing.
In February 2026, Fleck pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and robbery charges connected to the convenience store killing. He was sentenced in May to 23 years in prison.
Following his recent conviction in the Waffle House robbery case, a judge sentenced Fleck to 30 years in prison. However, the court ordered that the sentence run concurrently with his earlier 23-year sentence, meaning both prison terms will be served at the same time.
The two cases stem from separate violent incidents that occurred in consecutive months during 2025, resulting in one robbery conviction and one murder conviction that will keep the Missouri teenager behind bars for decades.
