Shooting Happened at a Dallas Apartment Complex
According to Dallas police, the shooting occurred shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday at the Estelle Village Apartments, located on Highland Hills Drive in Dallas.
Authorities said multiple suspects traveling in a vehicle drove through the apartment complex and opened fire before fleeing the area.
Four Masked Suspects Reportedly Opened Fire
Investigators said there were four suspects inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting, and each of them was reportedly wearing a mask.
Police believe the gunfire came directly from inside the moving vehicle, but investigators have not yet released additional details about the type of vehicle involved or the direction in which it fled after the shooting.
Four Victims Injured
Emergency responders treated four people who were struck by gunfire during the incident.
According to police:
- Three victims suffered serious gunshot injuries.
- A fourth victim was grazed by a bullet.
All four victims were transported for medical treatment. Authorities said that, despite the seriousness of some of the injuries, all four are expected to survive.
