A Georgia man has been arrested after police accused him of performing dangerous driving stunts in a crowded shopping center parking lot in Kennesaw.
According to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department, 21-year-old Daniel Carrera Estrada of Norcross allegedly engaged in stunt driving late on the night of July 17 at the Town Center Commons shopping center located at 667 Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw.
Police Say Driver Performed Donuts in Busy Parking Lot
Investigators said the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. when Estrada allegedly began spinning his vehicle in circles and performing donuts in the shopping center parking lot.
According to the warrant, Estrada’s vehicle was surrounded by other parked vehicles at the time, and police said the stunt driving caused the tires to squeal as he repeatedly spun the car.
Authorities said the behavior created a dangerous situation for other drivers and people in the area.
Vape Found During Search
During the investigation, officers conducted a search and allegedly found an Ace Premium Vapes Signature Bubblegum Burst vape in Estrada’s pocket.
Police said they researched the vape product online and located information from the Tribal Nation Flower Company, which indicated that the vape oil contained approximately 90.1% THC.
Based on the findings, Estrada was also charged with a possession-related offense.
Charges Filed Against Estrada
Estrada faces charges including:
- Reckless stunt driving
- Possession of a controlled substance
Authorities noted that the arrest warrant identifies him as Daniel Carrera Estrada, while jail records list his name as Daniel S. Estrada.
Arrest and Release
Estrada was arrested on July 17 at approximately 11:21 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records.
He was later released on July 18 at 12:39 p.m. after posting a $1,500 bond.
The case remains pending as authorities continue with the legal process.
